I fell in love with Maine Coon casually… even if in life nothing happens by chance!
A rainy saturday… in a small city of province… in a feline expo where I had happened…at chance!
Since the first time, taking my attention there was a red big cat with a fierce and wild look, with a strong and sturdy body, imposing and majestic but sweet and generous at the same time: it was for me a real blow of lightning at the first sight!!
Since then my story with Maine Coon has had beginning but never ends!
Zice Coon is a medium, serious and loving cattery located in Sestola, a country voted very successfully to the summery and winter tourism, at 1000 meters of height on the modenese Appennino, to the slopes of the Cimone mount. Starting in 2005, we are a Fife registrered cattery and a member of the Italian all breed club ANFI.
After Kentucky, my first male, arrived all the other friends chosen amonf the most prestigious Europe lines, and tested negatives for PKD, HCM, FIV and FELV.

My cats, are fully part of my life, living with me as family members, and taking part in my daily doings and often bringing me  a smile on my lips because of their way to socialize with me
They love this kind of life but  there is also a big outdoor run, placed in a green meadow, where they can run, play in the open air and enjoy sun whenever they want.

My effort is to breed healthy and strong Maine Coon cats with a lovely temper.
Kittens born and grow up indoor,  before moving in their new families. My kittens are not available before they are at least 12 weeks old. All kittens from Zicecoon are sold with a FIFe pedigree and a healthbook, vaccinated and dewormed. and written sales contract which has to be signed by both parts. I reserve the right to sell my kittens to serious buyers only – people who agree that the cat is as important in the family as themselves. No cats from me will be allowed outside except in a secure outside run!!
Believe me, if you need a companion and a friend who learns and teaches, that loves and wants to be loved, that can be patient but always stay proud…one who can really hears your heart… Maine Coon is that one you need.
